The 30-Night Sleep Trial

Every Apawrest bed comes with a 30-night sleep trial. Let your dog actually live on it - nap on it, nest in it, shed on it, drag her favourite toy onto it. Dogs do not read product pages, and some of them need a week or two to accept that the new bed is theirs. That is exactly why the trial is 30 nights and not 7.

If at any point within 30 nights of the delivery date you decide the bed is not right for your dog, contact us and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give us a reason, although we always appreciate knowing what did not work, because it helps us build better beds.

How to start a return

1. Email support@apawrest.com within 30 nights of the delivery date. Include your order number and, if you can, a line about why the bed did not work out.
2. We will reply with simple return instructions, including a prepaid return label. We cover the cost of return shipping, you will not pay anything to send the bed back.
3. Package the bed as best you can. The original packaging is ideal if you kept it, but any secure packaging is fine. We understand a bed that has been slept on for three weeks will not fold back into its box perfectly.
4. Once the return is scanned by the carrier, you have done your part. You do not need to wait for it to arrive back at our warehouse to chase us.

Refund timing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the return being accepted. In practice it is usually faster. Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional days to show the money in your account, which is outside our control. There are no restocking fees, no deductions, and no partial refunds for normal use. A full refund means a full refund.

What the trial covers, honestly

The trial covers normal use by a dog: sleeping, nesting, shedding, the occasional accident, and everyday wear from a dog doing dog things. It does not cover:

• Damage caused by machine-washing the foam core itself. The cover is machine-washable and is built to be washed often. The foam core is not, and soaking it damages it permanently.
• Beds that have been cut, torn open deliberately, or damaged by something other than a dog using it as a bed.
• Beds bought second-hand or from anywhere other than apawrest.com. The trial belongs to the original buyer.

The trial applies to your first bed of each model. If you return a bed and later buy the same model again, the second purchase is covered by your standard consumer rights rather than a second free trial. We also reserve the right to decline serial returns made in bad faith. We built this trial for worried owners, not for free bed rentals, and we trust our customers to treat it the way it is meant.

Faulty, damaged, or wrong item on arrival

If your bed arrives damaged, faulty, or simply is not what you ordered, that is on us and it is handled outside the trial. Email support@apawrest.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the problem and your order number. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund, whichever is faster for you, at no cost to you. You will not be asked to return a damaged bed unless we arrange and pay for the collection ourselves.

Cancelling an order

Orders are dispatched within 1 business day, so the window for cancelling before dispatch is short. If you need to cancel, email support@apawrest.com as soon as possible with your order number. If the order has not yet shipped, we will cancel and refund it immediately. If it has already shipped, no problem: refuse the delivery or start a standard 30-night return once it arrives, and we will refund you in full either way.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or replaces the rights you have under applicable consumer law, including US federal and state consumer protections where you are purchasing from the United States. This policy sits on top of those rights, not instead of them.
