Who we are

Apawrest is a United Kingdom sole trader business based in Motherwell, Scotland. Our business address is 20 Kylemore Crescent, Motherwell ML1 3XP, Scotland, United Kingdom, and you can reach us at support@apawrest.com. These terms cover purchases made from apawrest.com. By placing an order, you agree to them.

We have written these terms in plain English on purpose. There is no clever wording here designed to catch you out, and if anything is unclear, email us and a real person will explain it.

Ordering and prices

• Prices are shown on the product page and at checkout. The amount you see at checkout is the amount you pay. There are no hidden fees added afterwards.
• Shipping to the United States is free on every bed.
• We occasionally run introductory or promotional pricing. A crossed-out price shown next to the current price is the bed's standard price, and the current price is what you pay today. We do not invent fake "was" prices.
• If we ever make a genuine pricing error on the site, for example a bed listed at a fraction of its real price due to a technical mistake, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full before dispatch. We will always tell you why.
• Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send your dispatch confirmation.

Honest descriptions

We describe our products honestly and only claim what we can back. Materials, dimensions, and features listed on each product page reflect the beds as they actually are. If we ever get something materially wrong in a listing, your remedy is simple and generous: the 30-night trial. Return the bed for a full refund, with return shipping on us.

What our beds are, and are not

Our beds are sleeping products for dogs. They are designed to be comfortable and supportive, particularly for large and ageing dogs. They are not medical devices, they do not treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and nothing on our site is veterinary advice. If your dog has a health problem, please talk to your vet. We say this because we mean it, not because a lawyer made us.

The 30-night trial and returns

The full details live in our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. The short version: 30 nights to try any bed, full refund if it is not right, we cover return shipping, and faulty items are replaced or refunded immediately at no cost to you.

Your account and conduct

You do not need an account to buy from us. If you create one, keep your login details safe, and tell us if you believe someone else is using your account. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that are fraudulent, abusive, or placed by automated systems.

Our content

The text, photography, and design of apawrest.com belong to Apawrest. You are welcome to share links to our pages anywhere you like. Please do not copy our product photography or written content for commercial use without asking us first.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for anything that cannot legally be excluded, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud. Beyond what the law requires, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are a small business selling dog beds; we stand fully behind our products, and the 30-night trial exists precisely so that your risk in buying from us is as close to zero as we can make it.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under applicable consumer law, including US federal and state consumer protections where you are purchasing from the United States. Where any part of these terms conflicts with rights the law gives you, your legal rights win.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of protections granted by the mandatory laws of the place you live.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, the new version applies to orders placed after it is published. The version that applies to your order is the one that was live when you ordered.
